A secure, start-to-finish walkthrough for installing STBEmu, adding your GOODIPTV portal, and locking sideload permissions back down.

Install Downloader
From the Fire TV home screen, open Find, choose Search, and enter “Downloader.” Select the orange Downloader app from the Amazon Appstore and install it.

Reveal Developer Options
Open Settings → My Fire TV → About. Highlight your Fire TV device name and press the Select button seven times. Return one screen and Developer Options should now appear.

Allow Downloader to install apps
Open Developer Options → Install unknown apps and turn access on for Downloader only. Do not enable it for apps that do not need it.

Download the approved STBEmu APK
Open Downloader and use only the STBEmu download address supplied by GOODIPTV support or the app’s official distribution source. Never install a modified or “unlocked” APK from an unknown website.

Install and clean up
When Fire OS displays the installer, select Install. After installation finishes, choose Done, return to Downloader, and delete the APK file to recover storage.

Create your GOODIPTV profile
Launch STBEmu, open its menu, and go to Settings → Profiles → Add profile. Give it a recognizable name such as “GOODIPTV.”

Enter your portal URL
Open Portal settings and enter the Portal URL exactly as it appears in your GOODIPTV welcome email. Check the protocol, spelling, slashes, and capitalization before saving.

Confirm the device identity
Use the MAC address or device identity instructions from your welcome email. Do not generate or change a MAC address unless GOODIPTV support specifically asks you to.

Load the portal
Save the profile, select it as the active profile, and restart STBEmu. The first portal load can take a little longer while channel and guide data synchronize.

Lock installation back down
After confirming STBEmu works, return to Fire TV Settings → Developer Options → Install unknown apps and disable Downloader’s permission.
Good to know: Keeping unknown-app installation disabled when it is not needed is the safest option.
Firestick troubleshooting
The portal keeps loading+
Restart STBEmu and the Firestick, then check that the complete portal URL was entered without spaces. If it still loops, ask support to confirm the device identity attached to your account.
I see a blank or black screen+
Try another channel, restart the player, and test without a VPN. Confirm your Fire OS and STBEmu versions are current.
My MAC address is not recognized+
Do not create multiple identities. Send the exact MAC shown in the active STBEmu profile to GOODIPTV support for confirmation.
Developer Options is missing+
Open Settings → My Fire TV → About, highlight the device name, and press Select seven times until the developer message appears.
